Once we get past Jeff’s recap of the season we revisit last week’s tribal council with our final four. Spencer is asking Tony if he voted for Trish. He openly admits that he did. He says it was a strategic move, he hated to do it to her, but it had to be done to get him to the end. The four of them also start to congratulate each other and discuss how the end will go. Tony is really giving the hard sell on his special idol making sure they think he can use it this time. He wants them to think they can’t write his name down even if he doesn’t win immunity.

In the morning the loved ones finally hit the beach! I really thought they weren’t going to show this season. It was nice for the final four to have a picnic with their family members instead of having the stress of playing for time with them. Before you know it though the pleasantries are over and it’s time for the immunity challenge. This challenge is freaking me out! They are on the top of a high post on a windy day out in the ocean. They have to pull up buckets of water to pour into a tube that will draw up a key. Once they have the key they jump in and head to shore to unlock pieces to for a puzzle. It’s the Tony and Spencer show again. Problem is, we already know that Tony won’t know how to do the puzzle. Woo catches up and Kass is a disaster on the pole. The puzzle is tough and Kass is able to catch up! She does the impossible and wins immunity!

Quote:
Spencer-“I had to win and it meant so much, and so losing in itself is devastating. Losing to a brain dead weasel like Kass, that’s the most humiliating way I could have lost today.”
Back at camp Spencer approaches Tony with some story about the possibility that this season will be a final 2 instead of final 3. He gives him the finer points of keeping him to the next vote over Woo. Tony knows Spencer is a super fan and he is making sense.

Spencer’s final two talk is the topic of conversation at tribal council. Out in the open Spencer pleads his case and gets Kass to admit that Woo is more favorable to take to the end than Tony. I really think Tony might figure it out and go with Spencer, but when the votes are read it’s Spencer that goes to the jury. Sorry Heidi, the tribe has spoken.

Jeff turns to Kass, Tony and Woo and you find out Spencer was right, they have another immunity challenge in the morning!
Quote:
Woo-“I’d be the stupidest Survivor player ever taking Tony to the end.”
Kass-“Me too.”
The challenge is a huge maze with key pieces to get then, puzzle pieces to put together to raise a flag first. It is a close race and in a photo finish Woo beats Kass. How Woo can muster the energy to do those back flips with so little food or sleep I have no idea.
Quote:
Kass-“It’s horrifying! The person who hasn’t made a decision the whole game is in charge of my fate!”
Tony and Kass have to start their campaigning to Woo. The whole time they are talking to him it looks like Woo is just confused. I know he is just being thoughtful, but man, shake the sand out of your ears dude.

At tribal Jeff questions the three to see how their afternoon went. Woo is stoked to win the immunity then goes quiet. Kass and Tony start back up with the reasons why Woo should take them to the end. The look on Woo’s face when Tony lays the loyalty talk on thick says it all. Woo cuts off Jeff short and wants to get right to the vote. He votes off Kass and makes his choice to go to the end with Tony. Stupid I think he called it. Sorry, Chuck Woolley, the tribe has spoken.

Final 2 get the usual awesome breakfast. Tony never turns the game off. He finds a note in the basket and hides it from Woo. It ends up being a mirror and scale so he tells Woo about it, but man this guy is a snake.

The opening statements go pretty well and then the jury gets going. The questions go at Tony pretty hard. They are pretty light on Woo, then Trisha gets up. It was almost a Susan from season 1 rant. Very uncomfortable. Spencer finishes out the jury with an actual closing argument for why everyone should vote for Tony and not Woo. I’ve never seen anything like it, but he said everything I was thinking. Man, I’m mad Spencer didn’t make it to the end! Be honest with yourself, Woo is likeable, but Tony played a near flawless game. Woo did very little besides entertain us.

Cut to the live finale and Probst reads the votes. He shows that Woo gets one vote, but Tony gets all the rest. Sorry, Sierra Gray, Woo loses.

Tony is the winner! Congrats David Hickman!

Quote:
Tony-“My wife said don’t do anything stupid out there. Taking Woo to the end would be stupid. I’m going to listen to my wife. I’m going to have to blindside Woo soon.”

Reward challenge is for pizza delivery. Tony wins by a landslide and picks Trish to enjoy pizza with him.
Quote:
Kass-“I’m glad Tony picked Trish for the reward because it just solidifies that those two are locked together. Tony is the alpha male out here and she’s the female. There are like a couple of baboons. I’m surprised she isn’t picking ticks off him right now.”

Spencer-“Everyone is handing Tony this game, much like the pizza on a silver platter.”

Tony and Trish start talking strategy over pizza. First he tells about his idols, he makes something up about when he can play them. Then, he tells Trish that he wants to go to the end with her and Kass because he figures they can beat Kass.

Tony actually approaches Kass with the idea of final 3 and Chaos Kass comes out to play! She goes right back to camp and squeals the new plan to Woo. Tony flips! Kass is hanging all of Tony’s dirty laundry and Kass has no filter. Woo just quietly listens and processes. When Tony finally gives up the fight and walks away. Spencer, Kass and Woo have a chat. Another alliance to go after the mob boss in the works? It was discussed, but not finalized.

At the immunity challenge Tony goes out strong. Before you know it, Tony is way out front and only Spencer can catch him. Tony is working on the final puzzle for a while before Spencer catches up. Spencer gets to the puzzle, but the difference is Tony has been just moving pieces with no real success and Spencer actually knows what to do with the pieces. In no time Spencer solves the puzzle and wins immunity for the second week in a row.

Back at camp Trish starts up at Kass. Tony is scrambling with Woo. He starts swearing on everyone under the sun that he is taking Woo to the end. Woo is still suspicious. He doesn’t trust Tony. Woo approaches Kass and Spencer to keep his options open. Tony sees them talking and freaks out.

Quote:
Kass-“Trish went completely off the hook with me. She looked like freaking Skeletor with those blues eyes popping out and that skeleton finger waving in my face.”

At tribal council the argument between Kass and Trish comes up. Words like capacity for hatred and psycho bitch came out. Spence feels like he’s in One Flew Over the CooKoo’s Nest and Woo thinks he’s stuck in the worst family possible. Tony is dad, Trish is mom, Kass is the sister, Spencer is the son and Woo is the foreign exchange student just hoping that everyone will shut the hell up and focus on the game. When they finally get down to the vote Tony decides to pull some tricks out of his bag. He shows both of his idols. When the voting is done, but before they are read Tony comes up to burn his regular idol. Doesn’t offer it to Trish, just says, “I don’t need this, but it’s the last time I can use it so here you go Jeff.” Jeff reads the votes and Trish is out. Woo goes with Kass and Spencer after all.

Sorry Kristi, the tribe has spoken.

Now, if you are like my family, you watch the previews and the tribe reveal their votes at the very end of the show. We got a real shock this week when you see Tony’s vote. He actually voted for Trish! No wonder he didn’t give the idol to Trish. Make sure to catch the 2 hour finale’ on Wednesday the 21st.

Quote:

Kass-“I’m pissed off, another blindside, Jefra taken out for crossing the Don, aka, Tony our mafia king. Anyone that crosses Tony get their cement shoes and thrown in the pond.”

In the morning, Kass is fed up with Tony’s condescending tone. She accuses him of calling her names. Tony is actually telling the truth this time and didn’t say anything about Kass, but Spencer isn’t going to stand up for Tony. Spencer really likes that Tony and Kass are fighting.

Quote:
Kass-“I don’t want to be a cult member, I want to kill the cult leader.”

The fighting continues and Tony can’t let it go. He is going nuts that Kass says he was talking about her, when he really wasn’t. She even tricks him into revealing that he has the special immunity idol. Tash and Spencer are loving this!

At the reward challenge Spencer totally loses it while making the puzzle. Tasha is smoking to start off. Kass steps up and guides Spencer to an incredible come back to win. The reward is a chance to help kids of a Philippine village.
Kass proposes that She, Spencer, Woo and Tasha should flush the idol and split votes to try to get out Trish or Tony. Woo takes some time to think about it, but decides to go with them.

Back at camp, keeping the new plan from Tony is the hard part. Woo has been a loyal ally for the entire game. It’s hard for him to go against Tony, he isn’t coming up with a very convincing lie. Tony thinks something smells fishy.

Immunity challenge is a tough one. It’s anyone’s game having to count items, get the right amount to come up with the combo to unlock their stick. All the while, run a quarter mile in between the two. Everyone is having trouble with this one, but in the end Spencer comes up with the right combo first.

At camp Tony is worried, because Tasha isn’t. Tasha usually scrambles on tribal council night, this time she is cool and calm, this makes Tony very nervous. The plan is set with Spencer, Tasha, Kass and Woo, but then Kass starts to over think things. Would it be better to go to the end with the guy that everyone hates? In an eleventh hour decision she pulls Woo aside to go back on the plan and vote Tasha.

At Tribal Council you can’t really tell which plan everyone is going with. When it’s all said and done Kass chickens out and votes with Tony after all, Tony doesn’t even play an idol (so he still has two!) and Tasha goes to the jury. Sorry Marisa, the tribe has spoken. Seriously, are these people stupid? What is Trish still doing there? And why wouldn’t they at least try to flush one of those idols out? Dumb!

Spencer knows he played the idol wrong. Kass called it. She knew he had an idol by the way he was acting. They flushed the idol and got rid of one more expendable castaway.

Reward is the Survivor auction! Spencer knows this is his Survivor life on the line and he and Tasha have to be smart about what they spend their money on. Tony also wants an advantage in the game and is willing to spend all $500 on it.
I can’t believe how low this food is going for. Kass only spends $20 for an amazing sandwich! Woo spends only $40 on huge BBQ ribs. When Jeff scratches his head and asks why some aren’t even bidding the answer was they are waiting for the advantage. Jeff aims to please so he brings it out. Tony and Spencer both bid $500 for it, Tasha pulls out. The boys draw rocks for it and Tony wins the advantage. Tasha walks away with nothing and so does Spencer.

The advantage was a clue to another immunity idol. Tony is feeling really good until Spencer gets ahold of him. Spencer starts planting the seed that Tasha is working on an all girl alliance. Spencer tells Tony that Jefra conspired against him and wanted to blindside him just two short days ago.
Quote:
Spencer-“Tony’s crazy. Tony’s willing to play hard, but not always well. That’s great in this game, because if I can get someone in power to make mistakes and go ballistic, then you know, I’m still here, and anyone could be going home at that point.”

Tony is tired of the girls sitting around doing nothing so he takes a break and looks for the idol. In no time he finds it. He decides to show his alliance the idol in an attempt to remind them that he needs to be kept around.

At the immunity challenge Tasha is a power house again and runs away with it. Woo is the only one even close to her.

When they get back to camp Tony starts to freak out because Tasha wins immunity and he can’t get rid of her. He is convinced he has to get rid of a girl or they will outnumber him and pick him off. He goes to Spencer with a hail Mary proposition to keep him around. Of course he is will to help out. Tony offers to get rid of Jefra, be he can’t tell Kass or Trish. Spencer will have to bring over Tasha to make the plan work. Of course Tasha is in if it will help Spencer out of danger for another few days.

Before long Tony is already second guessing himself. He is worried Spencer is off looking for the special idol. How dare he do that when he already offered to save him this on this vote?
Quote:
Tony- “I would say I’m driving myself crazy, but I don’t think it’s me driving myself crazy, I think it’s the game that’s driving me crazy. Yo, Woo, there’s going to be chaos tonight my friend.”

At tribal council Spencer pleads his case of making a big move against the tight alliance. Spencer makes valid points and Tony makes his move with Woo, Spencer and Tasha to blindside Jefra. Don’t hold your breath for an all new alliance, Trish and Kass are just dumb enough to let Tony and Woo back in the fold. Sorry Dan Haegele, the tribe has spoken.

Thursday, April 24, 2014

Tony makes a huge move at last week’s tribal council and it only causes a tiny stir back at camp. People basically expect it from him now. He is somehow right back in the fold with his alliance even after blindsiding one of their own and misleading most of them. Spencer is baffled, thinking he was in a new position in the game to realize he’s right back where he was, all it bought him was 3 days.
Quote:
Spencer- “Tony likes big moves and I’m not going to complain about it because it benefited me, I can’t always count on him…The sooner we make a move against Tony the better.”
Tony- “We go to the water well to talk strategy. I start working on some blue prints to make a nice little shack 5 feet from the water well. That’s where I’ll be the most patient, when I’m sitting in my spy shack.”

Before you know it Tony is lurking in the bushes listening to Trish and Jefra talking about him. Jefra is concerned Tony is a dirty rotten liar and Trish is so far up Tony’s butt that she thinks he is an Academy Award winning actor. Tony only trusts those that trust him so I’m sure Jefra is next on the hit list.

Reward is for a killer BBQ at some amazing caves. The tribe is split into two, Tash, Jefra, Spencer, Jeremiah are purple. Tony, Woo, Trish, Kass are Orange. Teams paddle around giant boats to collect extra paddles then head back to shore for a puzzle. Neither team have a clue what the words are supposed to say so they are looking at each other’s. Finally, Orange starts on a path that is close, but not right, then it triggers the right answer in the Purple team and they win. Tash, Jefra, Spencer and Jeremiah are off to reward and that has Tony very worried.

Back at camp with the losers Kass is sick of losing. Kass really wants to stick it out with Tony’s group. Tony wants to talk strategy and Trish wants to collect food. So Tony goes idol hunting. Woo goes to help Trish gather food from the trees.
Quote:
Tony- “Hidden near camp is an idol with special powers, that’s all I know about it. Let me find that idol, I’ll be super Tony, Tony in trouble no more.”
Woo- “Shaking, shaking, shaking, boom and I get at least 7 monster papayas. From there I was trying to pull a Sylvester Stallone Cliffhanger, swing my left hand, and snap and boom. Oh, my butt! I’d break my ass for papayas any day!”

At reward the food is flowing and so is the strategy talk. Jefra really doubts her place with Tony’s group. Before they can really get too far with the discussion the letters from home show up. Jefra’s letter from Mom is exactly what she needs to convince her to jump ship and shake on a final four deal with Spencer and his group.

The immunity challenge is balance again. They have to balance on a beam and balance a ball on a platform at the same time. The wind is gusty and half the field is out half way through the first round. 1 minute into the second round the only three left are 3 that have had immunity already, Tash, Spencer and Woo. In the last round we are again down to Tash and Spencer and again Tasha pulls it out.
When they get back from the challenge Tony is running in the woods again. He is on a mission to find that special idol. He can feel he is in danger. Tony, of course, finds the special idol. The reason it is so special is that only the one that finds it can use it and it can be played after the votes are read. Tony is so jacked up after finding it he can barely stand it.
In the meantime Jefra is spilling her guts to Kass and Trish. She tells them she can’t trust Tony. Trish and Kass are trying pretty hard to convince Jefra that you don’t vote out the one that is annoying you. They called him out on his playing both sides and he “promised” to stop his naughty ways. Good luck with that! Jefra goes right back to camp to tell Jeremiah that she is going back on her word to them and back to her Tony alliance.

At tribal council Jeff is asking all the right questions to stir the pot and put Tony on the spot. Jeff  didn’t ask the question that Spencer needed the most. Spencer and Tony both pull out idols. Spencer isn’t sure if he should use it on himself or on Jeremiah. He decides wrong. Spencer plays the idol for himself, but the votes are all for Jeremiah. Tony says his idol is fake and puts it away. Woo is stressed seeing that the other votes were for him, but doesn’t matter because Jeremiah is going to the jury. Sorry Debbie, the tribe has spoken.

Wednesday, April 16, 2014

Tony starts a rant the minute they get back to camp. He starts up with the “why me, why me”? He really didn't like getting votes last week. He’s trying to play it off like it’s a big compliment to be tagged as a threat, but he is actually freaking out.
Quote:
Trish- “Tony definitely has some paranoia, has some OCD stuff… he spins a lot. His brain is going all the time. This is a game of patience right now; I hope he doesn't do anything stupid.”

With Tony’s paranoia setting in, he starts to hatch a plan to shift focus to LJ. Tony tells LJ that Woo has an idol to get him thinking about going against Woo. Tony’s next move is to let everyone else know LJ is plotting against them.

It’s a spa day for the winners at the reward challenge this time. You know they are stinky and sore and ready for a shower, massage and fancy food. Teams are randomly selected and split into 3. Orange: LJ, Jefra and Trish. Purple: Kass, Woo, Tasha. Green: Spencer, Tony, Jeremiah. Tony was determined not to let anyone but him get away to chat while under the influence of a reward. He and his fellas won! Tony sees this as a chance to win the favor of these two guys that are on the outs with the rest of the group.
Quote:
Tony- “You might as well call me the opportunist, because if I see an opportunity, I’m going to jump on it.”

Those that are left at camp discuss Tony’s paranoia and make a plan to defuse it. There is never a flicker of doubt that they will do anything except go with the 6 to the end. At the reward, Tony starts right away with the alternate scenario talk. He doesn't make any promises, but makes it clear that he is willing to make a change if the opportunity presents itself.
Quote:
Tasha-“It is day 25. I’m in a three person alliance against a 6 person alliance. It doesn't take a CPA like me to do that math. I need to convince someone to flip or make a big move.

Tasha invites LJ to a secret rendezvous to discuss a proposition, but he stands her up.  LJ is absolute in his trust of Tony and his alliance of 6.  Tony is hard at work to drag LJ’s name through the mud. Trish isn't buying it, but Woo isn't sure. When it comes down to it, Tony isn't sure what his best play is. Does he betray his alliance and make a big move or have some patience.
Quote:
Tony- “In life, and in Survivor, you've got to know when to kiss ass and when to kick ass.”

At tribal council the talk is all about making big moves and when to make them. Tony brought his bag of tricks with him to the vote and it worked. He and Woo flipped on the alliance and voted out LJ! #Blindside

Sorry Lynnell, the tribe has spoken.

Solarrion:
Spencer and Kass go at it after the surprise vote on Sarah. Spencer isn't “mad” he just thinks she made a foolish move. Kass just thinks she out played him and he’s mad about it.
Quote:
Spencer- “Kass will fly in the face of strategy just because of how she feels. She’ll go basically wherever her estrogen takes her, not where her brain takes her.”

The next morning Kass and Morgan go at it. Kass thinks Morgan is like an old dog, you only keep it around because you love it, but it just sits around and does nothing. Morgan thinks Kass is just ugly and mean, and Kass is just jealous because Morgan is cuter than her.

At the reward challenge the tribe is split in two and both teams start off neck and neck, except Woo falls off the beam and has to go back. Things get even and then they start climbing a wall and Woo’s team pulls ahead. At the puzzle the teams are pretty even again. It always comes down to a puzzle. The prize is a Survivor style Outback Steak House picnic, the best prize of the season and both teams really want it. In the end LJ’s team of Spencer, Jefra, Morgan & Jeremiah win reward. So sad, too bad Woo.

Back at camp with the losers, Tony starts to question Kass about who they should vote off, Spencer or Jeremiah from her old tribe. Kass is non-committal. She doesn't want to be the one making the choice, as long as it isn't her, she doesn't care.
Quote:
Tony-“Kass seems sincere, but she’s really hard to read because she doesn't have any facial expressions, she’s just like a stone fish. I can’t tell if she’s lying to me or not and I’m a police officer.”

At the reward they are pigging out with no regard for manners. Spencer finally goes for the napkin and reveals that he has a clue to the hidden immunity idol. As slyly as he can he hides it away.

When they return to camp he heads out to start looking. Remember, there is an idol out there that is said to have ‘special powers’. Before you know it Woo has figured out that Spencer is gone, probably has a clue and is looking, so he goes after him.
Quote:
Woo- “I’m going to use my ninja stealth mode…I hightail it, Sonic the Hedgehog style.”

Woo runs back to camp and all out of breath tells his group he took the clue from Spencer. His buddies all run into the woods to look for the idol. Spencer runs after him and gets his friends to look too. It ends up being one big treasure hunt. It’s crazy, everyone is running around looking, but they are also afraid to let the other ‘team’ out of their sight. In the end, right behind Kass’ back, Spencer ends up with it. Too bad it’s just a regular old idol, no special powers for this one.
Quote:
Tony-“You know it is bad when Morgan is up. You can’t tell if she’s a pillow or a person, because she doesn't do anything. You know it’s serious, if she’s off her ass.”

At the immunity challenge it’s a balance and strength challenge. Some are knocked off right away, while some surprises are left standing. At the 1 ½ hour mark just Tash and Spencer are left. Spencer has struggled the whole time and Tash has barely moved, but Spencer holds on and wins it.

The pre tribal scramble starts and Spencer’s only hope to pull something together for his band of misfits is to go crawling back to Kass. Kass professes being a free agent and she will consider voting with them against Tony.
At tribal the conversation somehow turns to Morgan and her laziness. When it comes down to it, Kass picks her hatred of Morgan over her desire to flip the game again. Sorry Dave, the tribe has spoken, Morgan is juror number 2.

Quote:

Morgan-“If any person in the world could pick to be ugly or cute, mostly pick cute.”
